Before you build a website, start with these five questions.

A useful website starts with a clear purpose, not a page count.

01

Who is the website for?

Describe the person most likely to need your business. What brought them here, what do they need to know, and what would make them confident enough to take the next step?

02

What is the one action that matters?

A service business may want inquiries. A shop may want purchases. Choose a primary action for each page, then make that path easy to find.

03

What does your visitor need to see?

Outline the services, process, examples, and practical details that help people decide. Use authentic work and permissioned testimonials when available.

04

Who will maintain the content?

Decide who owns each page and how often it needs to change. A small content plan helps choose a sensible editing system.

05

What does a successful handover include?

Agree on responsive layouts, accessibility checks, account ownership, maintenance responsibilities, and a guide your team can use.
